Contract with Carmel
As a Councilman, I have kept every promise that I have made and will do the same thing as Mayor.
ETHICS & TRANSPARENCY
We should all be held to the same standards! Politicians should not get special treatment when pulled over by police or when dealing with government agencies. If elected, I will hold myself to the same standards you are held to and what you expect from leaders of our community.
We will get the budget under control with priority-based budgeting, fiscally responsible spending, and paying down the debt.
free market approach to economic development
We can attract businesses to our city without these fiscally irresponsible methods. We will work to grow our local economy by promoting our educated and capable workforce, quality of life, and proximity to many extracurricular activities. This has been done in many cities across America and there is no reason we can’t do the same in Carmel.
RESPECT small businesS & SERVE THE ENTIRE CITY
Rents should increase due to market forces and not government force and meddling. We will stop the property giveaways and make Carmel friendlier for small businesses that help our city thrive, not just focusing on downtown development.
practical infrastructure improvements
If we are frugal and practical, we can maintain and improve infrastructure not only today but for decades to come.
STOP MAYORAL PAY RAISES
I will end this practice immediately upon being sworn in.
KEEP CARMEL AFFORDABLE
If we implement the principles mentioned above, we can keep taxes low and Carmel affordable not only for us but for our children and grandchildren. That is what is important for long term fiscal health and future of our community.
